Juli True Dooley has driven growth at Kennedy Community Health Center, helping double the organization from $32 million to $66 million in annual revenue since joining in 2018.
Her advancement department generates approximately 25% of the annual budget through grants, sponsorships, and donations, ensuring 35,000+ individuals each year can access compassionate, comprehensive care regardless of ability to pay. Under her leadership, the organization attended 100+ community events in 2024 while dramatically expanding its online presence. Dooley grew Kennedy’s 5K walk & run from a small Great Brook Valley event to the first 5K ever hosted at Polar Park. She created the Kennedy Community Health Award event, orchestrated the 50th anniversary “Healthier Together” celebration at Union Station, and launched the costume party in collaboration with Queer the Scene.
Her career trajectory reflects remarkable versatility, from helping launch a coconut water company as an early employee through its acquisition by Coca-Cola, to collaborating with the Boston Celtics, New England Patriots, and celebrities for strategic product placement. A member of the True, Whelan, and Dooley families, she upholds her family’s legacy of community service.
What actor would play you in a movie? Taylor Swift. Everyone who knows me knows that I’m a huge Swiftie, so people tell me “I saw something about Taylor, and thought of you,” a lot. It’s the highest compliment!
Proudest moment? I’m proud of the collective journey, both personally and professionally, that has led me to a career that’s both challenging and fulfilling, and the beautiful life I’ve built with my husband, Tim, and our two amazing kids, Finnegan and Delilah, and dog, Zoey.
