For 12 years, Moravia worked at some of the world’s top pharmaceutical and medical device companies, where he successfully brought drugs, medical devices, and combination products to market.
Leveraging those skills he learned in the pharmaceutical industry, Moravia in 2020 founded QMB, which helps companies work with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration in order to get their drug delivery systems to market. But Moravia’s impact extends far beyond pharmaceutical consulting. A lifelong learner, he earned two master’s degrees from Boston University – a master’s degree in product design and manufacturing engineering and an MBA with a concentration in health sector management – after several years in the industry and while simultaneously working at SCIEX in Framingham.
While at BU, he helped several startups rise to prominence as a strategic advisor for the MassChallenge HealthTech accelerator. Moravia donates to numerous local organizations, including the Epilepsy Foundation New England and the Biomedical Science Careers Program in Boston, which provides underrepresented communities with resources to succeed in healthcare careers. He lives in Millbury with his wife, Lyndia, and their daughter, Genesis.
