Erica Stritch Schultz, 37
Owner & vice president, RAIN Group, Framingham
Residence: Stow
Birthplace: Portsmouth, N.H.
College: Boston University
As the head of thought leadership development for the sales training firm, Stritch Schultz led the charge in re-branding RAIN in 2011, including a new name and identity along with an expansion into new markets. Under her watch, inbound leads have increased 209% and expanded the company’s reach into nine new countries. Website visits have grown from 6,000 a month in 2012 to more than 100,000 a month. She spearheaded the launch of the book “Rainmaking Conversations,” which made the Wall Street Journal’s Best Seller list. As a co-founder, she lifted the company to new standards, including awards from Selling Power Magazine and Training Industry. She’s authored numerous articles and has been quoted in industry publications, including Microsoft Dynamics Marketing & Sales Community and CPA Leadership Report. She’s an advisor, volunteer and fundraiser for the healthcare-focused Ethan M. Lindberg Foundation and helped raise $150,000 for the foundation via a charity golf tournament. Those efforts led the foundation to rent a second apartment in Boston for families traveling to the city for care at Boston Children’s Hospital. In the memory of her son – Ari Schultz, who died in 2017 at age 5 due to a congenital heart defect – she fundraised for Hope Strengthens Foundation annual golf tournament, raising $20,000 in the first year. – Profile written by Zachary Comeau
