Marlboro-based 3Com said it finalized its acquisition of Huawei Technologies’ 49 percent stake in H3C Technologies Co. Ltd. for $882 million.
3Com now owns 100 percent of China-based H3C. 3Com, a data and network security company, won the right to acquire H3C in a bidding process, and paid for the company, fees and expenses with $470 million in cash and a $430 million bank loan.
The company received final approval for the deal from the Chinese government last week.
