Marlborough medical device manufacturer Boston Scientific announced on Friday it has extended the timeline for its $210-million acquisition of EndoChoice Holdings, Inc. in Georgia.
The timeline for the acquisition was extended from the end of today to the end of Nov. 21, according to a release from Boston Scientific.
In October, the company officially extended an offer of $8 per share to current EndoChoice shareholders. The board of directors of EndoChoice unanimously approved the terms of the merger agreement, including the tender offer, and has recommended that EndoChoice shareholders tender their shares in the offer.
The purchase would include the company as well as its products and services for specialists treating a range of gastrointestinal (GI) conditions. The company also has positions in pathology services and imaging technologies, according to Boston Scientific.
