President, The Davis Cos., Marlborough
Birthplace: Camden, N.J.
Residence: Littleton
High school: Lawrence Academy
College and degree earned: Bachelor’s degree, University of New Hampshire
Career highlights: Launched a permanent placement division that led a tripling of the firm’s staff in less than a year. As director of business operations, managed a team of 40 and oversaw sales and recruiting operations for Davis’s headquarters. Initiated a virtual office expansion model into Minneapolis and grew it. In 2013, launched Davis Transportation Service, a driver staffing company, which grew 300 percent in one year.
Community involvement: Davis’s Backpack Giveback, Cradles to Crayons projects and serving dinner at a local soup kitchen. As a dog lover, I am actively pursuing a Canine Good Citizen certification from American Kennel Club for my 8-month-old boxer, Maverick. Once certified, I will bring Maverick and my 2-year-old son, Brody, to nursing homes and hospitals to bring smiles to people’s faces.
Ultimate career goal: To be able to stand on the shoulders of giants and be the best I can be in the industry I’m in.
Non-relative you admire most: Shane McConkey, extreme sports athlete, because he pushes the limits of life in ultimate class and style.
Favorite book: “The Giving Tree,” by Shel Silverstein
Hidden talents: Collecting amazing and wacky socks.
“By the time I turn 50, I’d like to have … launched and sold a startup and completed a Tough Mudder with my father and my son.”
