Career highlights: Eight years developing and delivering AVATAR technical solutions for commercial and government customers in four states. Four years in the trenches as the group technical operations liaison for the 951st Electronic Systems Group – Mission Planning, U.S. Air Force, and six years as IT director at a national data center with AT&T.
Community involvement: Youth coach: football, baseball, basketball, softball and soccer. Webelos den leader, Cub Scout Pack 306 in Rutland. U.S. Marine Toys for Tots event coordinator; QCC tech apprentice mentor.
Ultimate career goal: Expand AVATAR Commercial Technical Services into additional major cities domestically, while continuing our support of the U.S. government.
Non-relative you admire most: All the service men and women who protect our freedoms.
Favorite book: “Catcher in the Rye,” by J.D. Salinger
Hidden talents: Playing the guitar, hunting, camping, and fishing. I can also throw together a darned good dinner with some items from the cupboard, and a campfire.
