Career highlights: The first non-nurse and youngest executive director in the history of CAREtenders/Almost Family, I expanded Massachusetts operations to become the largest of 35 regions while becoming the largest non-ACO/hospital-owned Medicare provider of home health services in Massachusetts. This created approximately 400 new jobs in Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire. CAREtenders is now recognized throughout the state's health care community as the state's foremost leader of home health rehabilitation services.
Community involvement: I volunteer as a youth soccer coach, and am an active member of the Massachusetts Home Care Alliance's legislative committee, from which I actively lobby state and federal lawmakers on behalf of the homebound elders that we serve.
Ultimate career goal: To be a leader in the national transition from hospital to community/home-based health care.
