Career highlights: I played a key part in building and developing The Davis Cos.’ engineering and IT brands, expanding them into multiple locations across the United States. In addition, I successfully built several high-performing organizations from recruitment through leadership, and I was the “top performing” recruiter for four straight years.

Community involvement: I’m heavily involved with the Davis Impact team and its “giving back” initiatives. This team is comprised of volunteers from all five Davis branch offices and is dedicated to partaking in monthly events that support our communities. From national efforts like the Ronald McDonald house and Cradles for Crayons to more local causes such as tornado relief in Monson and Andrew’s Helpful Hands, I participate in and help organize several events each year. The best part of it all is being able to make a difference in people’s lives.

Biggest success: I define success as having a beautiful family while maintaining a thriving career. Whether I’m mentoring a new hire or reviewing quarterly margins, I’m able to shut work off at night and on the weekends to stay focused on my two daughters and my wife. Finding the right balance between work life and home life has given me the best of both worlds.

Biggest challenge: The Davis Cos. has strong community values and is growing rapidly. Keeping the company culture and values intact is very important to our overall strategy. As we hire more staff and create more divisions, our vision is to not change who we are as a company. Preserving these core principles has, at times, become challenging because we are employing new people on a monthly basis.

Mentors: My father is a mentor to me because he taught me the value of hard work, commitment and seeing things through. He has guided and supported me throughout my career and encouraged the importance of family. Bob Davis has also been an inspiring mentor. He taught me the importance of giving back and how to think strategically in business. He’s passed down his knowledge and experience to help me grow in my career.
