Salmon leads one of Central Massachusetts’ largest senior care organizations, providing services ranging from independent living to hospice care. After navigating the severe challenges facing the senior care sector during and after the COVID pandemic, SALMON has rebounded strongly, with net operating income increasing 136% since 2022. Salmon is overseeing the transition of the third-generation family business while developing a long-term growth strategy for the company.
What unique skill sets you apart from others? We have a policy that routine communication happens between 7:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. I want staff disconnected from work when they’re home. It reduces burnout and improves productivity.
Why do you do business in Central Mass.? SALMON was founded in Northborough in 1952 by my grandparents, and I was born and raised here. Central Massachusetts is a great place to do business and raise a family.
