Women in Philanthropy: Giving with Purpose

May 28 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm
Free

You’re already making a difference. What could be possible with a few more tools, insights, and support behind your giving?

Women in Philanthropy: Giving with Purpose is an inclusive, educational conversation designed to meet you wherever you are in your giving journey. Whether you’re contributing alongside others, supporting causes you care about in smaller ways, or beginning to think about long-term charitable planning, this event is for you.

This is not a fundraising event. It’s an opportunity to learn, ask questions, and explore how to give with greater intention and confidence.

Together, we’ll explore:

How everyday generosity and collective giving create real impact in our communities

Ways to move from reactive giving to more intentional, values-driven decisions

How philanthropy can be part of your broader financial and life goals

Simple tools and approaches that make giving easier, more strategic, and more meaningful

How to think about legacy and long-term impact in an accessible, empowering way

You’ll hear from a panel of local professionals and community leaders who bring a range of perspectives:

Allison Gormier, President – Institutional Division and Senior Investment Consultant, Mason Investment Advisory Services – Sharing how thoughtful, long-term investment and stewardship have helped grow charitable assets in our region to over $115 million—while granting more than $107 million back into the community

Shannon Ouellette, Wealth Management Advisor, Northwestern Mutual – Offering practical guidance on aligning your financial life with your values, including charitable planning, tax-smart giving strategies, choosing the right partners to support your goals, and leveraging collective giving to amplify impact

Erin McBee, Estate Attorney and Founder of Law Office of Erin McBee– Providing clear, accessible insight into how charitable giving can be incorporated into your estate plan and long-term vision

Leslie Garrison, CFNCM Trustee & Philanthropist – Sharing a real-world perspective on family philanthropy, collective giving, and how to make confident, informed decisions in your grantmaking

No matter your starting point, whether you’re giving $50 or thinking about your long-term legacy, you are welcome in this conversation, and you’ll leave with ideas you can put into action right away.
