Greenwood Industries has acquired its second roofing company of the year, this time purchasing New York-based Diamond Roofing. The Worcester-based construction firm purchased Diamond Roofing to expand its footprint in Central New York, according to a Wednesday announcement from Greenwood. Diamond was founded in 1947 and is headquartered in Syracuse.The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.[Want more real estate news? The purchase by Greenwood allows Diamond to offer more services, including waterproofing and masonry.Diamond's footprint and reputation made it an attractive acquisition to facilitate Greenwood’s expansion in New York, Greenwood CEO David Klein said.
