Worcester Academy Head To Retire In 2012

Dexter Morse, head of Worcester Academy, will retire in June 2012 after 14 years with the school.

During Morse’s tenure the school completed a $30-million capital campaign and has renovated eight buildings on campus while purchasing or constructing another three.

In addition to overseeing the school, Morse also served as a teacher of American government and coached football.

A transition committee has been formed to begin the search process for a new leader.
