Westborough Group Gets Its Day On Beacon Hill

The Westborough-based 495/MetroWest Corridor Partnership gets its own “State House Day” today in Boston.

The partnership is scheduled to meet with legislators who represent its member towns at 11:30 a.m. at the State House. The program includes remarks by Joseph O’Leary of Sovereign Bank, the partnership’s private sector co-chairman; a report to legislators by Paul Matthews, the partnership’s executive director and remarks by state Senate President Therese Murray, D-Plymouth.

The partnership is a nonprofit regional advocacy group focused on economic development and environmental protection. The group is made up of government officials, employers and educators from the towns along Interstate 495.
