Milford-based Waters Corp. said today the company posted sales of $353 million for the second quarter of this year, up 17 percent over the same period last year.
The analytical technology corporation said sales for the first six months of the year stood at $683 million, a 15 percent increase over the first six months of 2006. Earnings per share after the close of the second quarter of 2007 stood at $1.13, up from $0.87 a year ago.
“Our first half results are very encouraging and we are optimistic that our new system offerings will continue to stimulate demand going forward,” said Douglas Berthiaume, chairman, president and CEO of Waters Corp.
