Natick-based Cognex Corp. said a major Japanese supplier of industrial robots will produce certain robot models with Cognex’s In-sight vision sensors.
Cognex said it expects the partnership to generate yearly revenue of more than $300,000.
Vision guided robots offer manufacturers flexibility allowing a variety of different items to be made on the same assembly line.
Cognex’s In-sight sensors come with the company’s PatMax software, which can locate and identify parts accurately.
