Future Goals
1. As Veterans Inc. celebrates the 35th anniversary of its founding, we remain committed to ending veteran homelessness through the delivery of safe and stable housing programs, individualized support services, prevention programs, and tireless advocacy at the state and federal levels to drive systemic change.
2. To remain at the forefront of behavioral health treatment through evidence-based, compassionate, innovative, and trauma-informed care in a holistic wellness environment at our Independence Hall location in Shrewsbury as well as our other treatment programs at our Worcester locations, addressing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders;
3. To expand and create programs, services and outreach strategies that effectively reach and support underserved and marginalized populations by first addressing and eliminating barriers to access; and to reach our highest risk Veterans where they are with our branded mobile outreach unit.
4. To provide critical suicide prevention services to service members, Veterans, and their families;
5. To empower and support females in their recovery by providing comprehensive, gender-responsive programs and services, including strategic efforts to continue women’s residential rehabilitation services that address their unique needs;
6. Re-enforce our data and technology upgrade to strategically expand our reach to those in need, increase service to Veterans, enhance collaboration with providers, and reduce the time from initial contact to service delivery through improved data and operational efficiency.
7. To continue promoting awareness of and appreciation for the sacrifices made by Veterans and their families for all of us, including the challenges that put them at greater risk for homelessness, substance use and mental health disorders;
