Verizon buys three laptops for Marlborough High

The Verizon Foundation recently awarded an $8,000 grant to the Marlborough Regional Community Foundation Inc. and Marlborough High School for the purchase of three laptop computers for the school.

The grant is part of a technology upgrade initiative launched by the high school and the community foundation. Three new Dell laptops and three InFocus projectors, with peripherals, will be purchased by the school, said Mary Carlson, principal at Marlborough High School.

The Marlborough Regional Community Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in 1998 by the board of directors of the Marlborough Regional Chamber of Commerce.
