Hartford-based United Technologies Corp. reported a 4 percent increase in second quarter net income to $1.15 billion from $1.1 billion last year. The company’s earnings per share are up 6 percent to $1.16 from $1.09 and revenues rose to $13.9 billion, a 13 percent increase in the second quarter.
