The U.S. Department of Labor revised its figures, but fourth quarter business sector productivity growth still lagged behind the yearly averages for 2006-07.
According to the department, business sector productivity grew by 1 percent in the fourth quarter, an upward revision of 0.4 percent from department estimates published in early February. Productivity grew by an average of 1.9 percent in 2006-07.
