UMass Memorial Medical Group has opened a new urgent care facility in Northborough, the healthcare provider announced Monday.
Located at Northborough Crossing, the office marks the ninth urgent care facility in the UMass Memorial Health system. It will be managed by Milford Regional Physician Group.
“Our providers and staff aren’t just caregivers in this community. They’re neighbors, parents, coaches, and volunteers,” Dr. Pat McSweeney, senior vice president and executive director of Milford Regional Physician Group, said in a statement. “Many have been serving patients throughout the region for many years, building relationships and earning trust along the way.”
Like other urgent care offices, the Northborough Crossing location is intended to serve as a place for unexpected, non-life-threatening injuries and illness. The location will include a lab and x-ray services.
This location will be the sixth operated by Milford Regional Physician Group.
