Japanese automotive giant Toyota and DENSO, its automotive electronics supplier, have implemented the newest versions of Natick-based The MathWorks Inc. software into their powertrain control and electronics conrol units, according to MathWorks.
The world’s second-largest automaker will use the MathWorks R2006b release to help improveme productivity and streamline development and testing of new electronics, powertrain and overall vehicle design, said Kazuhiko Hayashi, general manager of Toyotal Electronics Engineering Division.
Toyota and DENSO have been using prior versions of MathWorks software since 2001, the company said.
