A year after expanding its presence in Framingham with the $24.3-million purchase of two office sites near its headquarters, TJX Cos. has purchased another office property in the area for $2.1 million.
The retail giant purchased 160 Speen St. in a deal finalized on Jan. 8, according to Middlesex South Registry of Deeds records. The property was purchased from an entity managed by Ronald and Leslie Bello, with the entity’s address listed as 160 Speen St.

The property at 160 Speen St. is roughly two-thirds of an acre and contains a three-story, 18,684-square-foot office building constructed in 1970, according to City of Framingham property records. The reinforced concrete building contains ground-level parking on its first floor, with the upper floors held up by pillars.
The building is considered Class C office space by real estate data website CoStar. Class C office properties are buildings in need of updates and contain fewer amenities than more modern offices. The property received a 2026 tax assessment value of $2.49 million, according to municipal property records.
TJX employs at least 1,000 people in Central Massachusetts and 364,000 worldwide, according to the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development and TJX’s annual report. It has stores in nine countries, operating under brand names like TJ Maxx, Marshalls, and Home Goods, according to its website.
