A few months after extending its lease in Downtown Worcester for another five years, The Bra Shop is opening a second location in Wellesley.
The new store is planned for 22 Church St. near Wellesley Square, just a short walk from a nearby MBTA Commuter Rail station and the Wellesley location of Bocado Tapas Wine Bar.
The Bra Shop owner Stephanie Ramey is planning to open the store in November.

“Women often travel more than an hour to meet with our team, learn about proper fit and have access to an abundance of styles and sizes,” Ramey said in a Tuesday announcement of the new location. “Opening in Wellesley gives us an opportunity to bring that experience to a new community and make professional bra fitting more accessible to women throughout MetroWest and Greater Boston.”
Similar to the Worcester location, the store will offer bras in a variety of sizes, as well as lingerie, sleepwear, gifts and accessories. The store will have walk-in shopping and professional fittings by appointment.
Ramey told WBJ in July she is interested in expanding The Bra Store across the MetroWest region and beyond, with the eventual goal of operating six to 10 stores. She opened the business after realizing national retailers weren’t offering products that worked for women of all sizes.
Ramey is the former president of Worcester Railers HC and former head of tourism marketing agency Discover Central Mass. She now serves as vice president of special projects at Rucker Investments, the Beverly-based investment firm that owns the Railers, the Auxilium Worcester entrepreneurship hub, and Pulse Magazine, among other Worcester-based businesses.
Ramey opened the Worcester location of The Bra Shop in 2021.
