Westminster-based fabrication manufacturer TechPrecision Corp. has signed a deal to make machines to produce thin films that are used in the solar energy industry.
Company CEO James Molinaro said the order gives the company “entry into another growing segment” of the solar industry. The order is expected to ship by the end of the year.
TechPrecision makes metal fabrications for the alternative energy, medical and defense fields. The company reported last week that it made an $855,000 profit on $8.4 million in revenues during the third quarter.
