Boxborough power conversion system seller SynQor Inc. says has won $11.9 million in a patent litigation suit against several competitors, the company says.
The damages, awarded by the US District Court for the Eastern District of Texas, supplement a previous jury award of $95.2 million. Eleven defendants were included in the award, which involved the sale of unregulated and semi-regulated converters.
The court also awarded an additional $4.5 million plus civil contempt sanctions and attorney fees and costs against Lineage Power Corp./Cherokee International Corp., as well as $567,514 plus similar charges and fees against Delta Electronics Inc.
