If you’re planning to let loose at your company’s holiday party this year, don’t. That’s the message of a national survey conducted by The Creative Group.
Nine out of 10 executives polled said office party behavior can affect career advancement prospects, with four out of 10 saying it can greatly affect professional growth.
The Creative Group, a staffing agency for the advertising and marketing industry, said making a first impression is critical, so R.S.V.P. promptly and arrive on time. Also, don’t spend too much time with those who complain about the party-you don’t want to be guilty by association. And, of course, limit alcohol consumption.
