Sturbridge-based G & F Industries has renamed and moved a sister company from Peabody to Danvers.
The sister company, Upcoa, has been renamed G & F Medical. The name change reflects the company’s greater focus on medical device component manufacturing.
The new location is 14,500 square feet, just five miles from the former facility and includes a clean room, an open floor plan and the ability to add more clean rooms for specialty assembly projects, the company said.
G & F Medical will focus on injection molding and component assembly.
G & F Industries was founded in 1962 and specializes in plastics molding and contract manufacturing for the medical, automotive, safety and consumer industries. The company is located on Main Street in Sturbridge.
