Stratus Technologies of Maynard is launching a new version of its Stratus Avance software, marketed as a more affordable way for companies to avoid downtime in their business operations.
The company said it’s marketing the software, Stratus Avance Foundation, in the U.S. and Europe through partnerships with Intel system builders and resellers. It said the product’s price will be “significantly less” than that of the current version, making it available to smaller businesses.
The system synchronizes two servers, keeping operations available seamlessly if one becomes unavailable.
