Welcome to the Worcester Business Journal’s fourth annual Health Care Heroes supplement.
Each of whom have contributed significantly to making Central Massachusetts a healthier place to both live and do business.
This year, we selected eight Health Care Heroes from the more than 40 nominations we received. And it’s a diverse bunch, ranging from doctors who are leaders within the Latino community, to a virtual ICU, to a married couple in their 80s who’ve devoted countless hours to a local hospital.
Special thanks to this year’s judges who took time out of their busy schedules to review the nominations we received. Each of the judges were Health Care Heroes last year. They are:
• Kimberly Harmon, president and CEO, Harmon Home Health
• Dr. Harvey Clermont, Worcester physician
• Justin Smith, Assumption College and volunteer for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
