To promote and encourage the empowerment of people with significant challenges so that each may pursue their highest possible degree of personal well-being and independence.

Seven Hills provides services in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island through Seven Hills Foundation and Affiliates, and eight developing countries through the Seven Hills Global Outreach affiliate.

Future Goals

1. Ensure a cohesive community of belonging for staff and people supported.

2. Enhance operational infrastructure with Technology and Communications that increase productivity.

3. Evolve our learning and development hub that supports staff credentialing, ongoing training, career pathways pursuits, and tuition assistance resources.

4. Identify and nurture new funding sources to sustain existing programs facing budget cuts and infuse innovation into the program pipeline.

5. Reinforce the WHY of what we do to raise awareness for people of all abilities facing life challenges, and the critical function of the Health and Human Services sector.

6. Stay on the leading edge of service delivery, integrating telehealth, assistive technology, and AI into traditional operations.

7. Strengthen our strategy for staff longevity, beginning with recruitment, orientation, ongoing training and mentorship, recognition, and career growth pathways.

8. Ensure each participant’s optimal level of satisfaction across programs using evidence-based practices and data evaluation.

Fundraising Opportunities

The Annual New Beginnings Charity Golf Tournament held in May, raises funds for the Community Connections program, providing social, competitive, and recreational opportunities for children and adults with disabilities. The tournament needs sponsors, donors, auction items, volunteers, and golfers.

The Annual Lori Lajoie Charity Golf Tournament held in August, raises funds to support unmet needs at Seven Hills and needs sponsors, donors, auction items, and volunteers.

The Call to Care Fund ensures people of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities receive the care they need to reach their fullest potential and a lifetime of health and happiness. sevenhills.org/donate

Giving Opportunities

Online donations gratefully accepted year-round at sevenhills.org/donate.

Donation remittance envelopes are inserted in the Horizons newsletter, distributed to all Seven Hills stakeholders twice annually.

Seven Hills Foundation sends out an annual appeal by mail in late fall.

Seven Hills Foundation seeks and submits grant proposals for funding for all affiliates and their various programs.

Donations of school and medical supplies as well as clothing gratefully accepted by Seven Hills Global Outreach for partners in eight developing nations around the world.

Tribute and memorial donations are gratefully accepted at sevenhills.org/donate.

Donations of non-cash assets or through wills, trusts, life insurance policies, and/or IRAs are gratefully accepted at sevenhills.org/giving.

Volunteer Opportunities

Volunteering is an important way to make a difference at Seven Hills Foundation & Affiliates. Sharing your talents and enthusiasm will make a dramatic, positive impact on the people we support—improving the quality of life for everyone. Examples of current volunteer opportunities include:

Family Services of Central Massachusetts operates the AmeriCorps Volunteer Senior Companion Program that recruits adults, aged 55 and over, to connect one-on-one with seniors who need assistance with activities of daily living and can benefit from socialization and friendship.

Seven Hills Family Services relies on volunteer coaches and unified partners to host Special Olympic competitive sports teams, as well as a host of recreation activities, including arts, music, health & wellness fun.
