Sepaton Inc., a Marlborough-based data protection systems maker, has signed a distribution agreement with a major IT service provider in China, the company announced.
Digital China Holding Limited, which has 11,400 employees, will resell one of the company’s data protection products to data centers and remote offices in China.
The deal increases Sepaton’s market share in China, where it already has deals with a number of banks, utility companies and other entities.
Sepaton has operations in the United States, England, South Africa and Asia. It opened an office in Europe last year with the aim of partnering with resellers there. The company also appointed a new CEO earlier this year.
