Saint Vincent Hospital is seeking to fill another C-suite role as its parent company searches for a chief human resources officer, the latest move amid a series of executive changes at the Worcester facility.
Tenet Healthcare, the Dallas-based operator of Saint Vincent, has posted a job opening for the facility’s CHRO. The role is currently filled by David Richards, according to Saint Vincent’s website.
“The Chief Human Resources Officer will be responsible for the St Vincent HR operations and liaison for MetroWest and ensuring all common processes, systems, practices, etc. are implemented and provide escalation and governance support,” the job description reads on Tenet’s website.
Additionally, the hospital’s CHRO will act as a strategic advisor for a range of strategic and operational HR issues, manage escalation and resolution of employee relations matters, and develop and retain key talent, according to the listing.
Candidates are required to have at least 10 years of experience providing human resources services and have earned a bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field. Saint Vincent prefers candidates with a master’s degree in human resources or a related field.
The hospital is offering an annual salary from $140,000 to $220,000, with possible annual bonuses between 10% and 50%.
Richards assumed the CHRO role after Christian Bartholomew left the position in 2024 after serving in the role for just under two years, according to Bartholomew’s LinkedIn profile and past versions of Saint Vincent’s website.
If the facility fills the position this year, it will mark the hospital’s third CHRO in three years.
Saint Vincent did not respond to WBJ’s request for additional information.
The hospital’s most recent job posting comes after Saint Vincent launched a search for a new CEO in December, following the departure of Denten Park. Park held the role for less than a year, succeeding Carolyn Jackson, who resigned on Feb. 14, 2025. Jackson now serves as the president and COO of Kent Hospital in Rhode Island. Park’s LinkedIn has not been updated to reflect a new role.
Adam Bracks was named Saint Vincent’s interim CEO in January.
When Saint Vincent posted its job listing for a new CEO, the hospital was simultaneously searching for a new chief nursing officer. The CNO listing has since been taken down, but the hospital has not announced a replacement for Denise Kvapil, who left the role in February 2025.
