Paul Sagan, president and CEO of Boston-based online technology company Akamai Technologies Inc., has been elected to the board of directors of Hopkinton’s EMC Corp.
Sagan, 48, will also serve on EMC’s mergers and acquisitions committee.
In addition to his duties at Akamai, Sagan serves as a director of Cambridge Internet media company Maven Networks and is a member of both the Dean’s Council at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University and the Presidential Advisory Council at the Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Sagan graduated from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.
