Rehabilitative Resources Inc. of Sturbridge has received a $7,659 grant from the state Department of Industrial Accidents to train its staff to prevent occupational injury and illness.
The grant will pay for weekly classes and will include training on blood borne and airborne pathogens. The training is designed for staff at risk of exposure to the flu virus, hepatitis or staph infection.
The nonprofit organization provides services to disabled people and has 43 residences across Massachusetts and day programs in Leominster and Sturbridge.
