On June 25, for the third time in just a little more than three years, Bay State voters will go to the polls to elect a U.S. senator. In last week’s Flash Poll, readers overwhelmingly leaned toward the Republican candidate, Cohasset businessman Gabriel Gomez, over his Democratic opponent, U.S. Rep. Edward Markey of Malden.
A Suffolk University/7NEWS poll released last week had Markey up 17 points.
