New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie has come under heavy fire over the scandal that tied his administration to traffic jams around the George Washington Bridge, allegedly orchestrated by aides in his administration as political payback. Christie denied any knowledge of such a scheme and has fired or sought resignations from key appointees and political associates.
