Quest Diagnostics has completed its acquisition of the laboratory services business of Oxford Immunotec, the companies announced Tuesday.
Both companies have a presence in Marlborough: Oxford Immunotec, a British company, has its American headquarters in the city. Quest Diagnostics, which is based in New Jersey, has a 200,000 square-foot lab there.
As part of the transaction, Oxford Immunotec will sell tuberculosis test kits and related accessories to Quest Diagnostics as part of a long-term supply agreement. Financial terms weren’t disclosed.
The two companies agreed to collaborate on the continued growth of the tuberculosis testing, calling T-SPOT.TB.
