Waltham-based Lycos Inc. said Internet searchers looked up Texas and Paris more than other terms last week, according to the Lycos Top 50.
But Lycos users weren’t making travel plans. They were playing Texas Hold ‘Em poker, and trying to find out the latest gossip on air-headed heiress Paris Hilton.
Other top 10 search terms last week included “spyware,” “Disney,” “MySpace,” “Britney Spears,” and “Golf.”
