Fundraising Opportunities
Notre Dame Health Care hosts an Annual Fall Fundraising Event each year to raise funds to support our healthcare mission. For the past several years, we have celebrated special anniversary milestones of the organization and honored extraordinary individuals and organizations throughout the community for their good work.
This year, our event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21 at The College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. We are planning a breakfast gathering where we will share information about our work and celebrate the special contributions of some truly selfless individuals and organizations who have helped make our communities stronger.
We will honor The Mustard Seed organization and the Urban Missionaries of Our Lady of Hope (along with Walter and Kathy Doyle) with Sister Jon Julie Sullivan, SNDdeN Mission Awards to recognize their many contributions to the greater Worcester community in ways that embody the spirit and creativity of the award’s namesake, the late Sister Jon Julie Sullivan.
And we will honor Denis Leary for his work with Veterans Inc. along with the Visitation House with Notre Dame Health Care Quiet Hero Awards to recognize their selfless acts of support in the greater Worcester community.
Giving Opportunities
The strength of our mission to provide excellent assisted living; long term care and short-term rehabilitation services; adult and pediatric hospice and palliative care; non-medical in-home assistance; and educational support for our employees and healthcare professionals relies on the support of our community.
Notre Dame Health Care welcomes gifts of any size to help support our mission. Charitable gifts strengthen our financial foundation and allow us to go above and beyond in providing services to our residents, patients, families and caregivers. Excellent, life enriching activities; compassionate daily care; customized post-acute recovery and rehabilitation services; well maintained facilities and grounds all make a difference to the individuals we serve.
Funds are raised to support our work through personal outreach, periodic mail campaigns, an annual appeal, tribute donations, and online donations. We also gratefully appreciate gifts of new items to support our periodic raffles and online auctions as well as our annual holiday raffles for our du Lac Assisted Living community and our Health Center which provides long term care and rehabilitation services.
Planned gifts also offer donors a meaningful way to support our work through legacy giving, including bequests, stock gifts, and beneficiary designations.

Volunteer Opportunities
We appreciate the support of dedicated volunteers with all levels of experience. We seek volunteers for our Adult and Pediatric Hospice and Palliative Care programs on an ongoing basis and can match volunteer interests and experience with program needs.
