A Charlestown-based health care organization has purchased West River Care, which provides hospice services to Wingate Healthcare-owned nursing homes in the state, including the Worcester Skilled Care Center and Wingate at Sudbury.
The purchaser, Beacon Hospice Inc., provides care to patients in more than 400 communities throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Maine.
Financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
