Worcester’s RXi Pharmaceuticals Corp. has hired Stephen J. DiPalma as its CFO as former CFO James Warren leaves the company.
DiPalma was most recently the co-founder, president and CEO of Catalyst Oncology Inc., and he has been an executive at a variety of other public and private pharmaceutical, biosciences and drug development companies.
The company said DiPalma would play a role in the development and commercialization of RXi’s RNAi gene therapies.
RXi is a subsidiary of Los Angeles, Calif.-based CytRx Corp.
