Lt. Gov. Timothy P. Murray is scheduled to spend a ceremonial day in Worcester today.
Murray, Worcester’s former mayor, was expected at the dedication of a memorial plaque for Worcester police patrolman Robert Hazelhurst this morning. He was expected to then offer remarks at a groundbreaking of a new affordable housing complex on May Street.
This afternoon, Murray is scheduled to tour the Flexcon manufacturing facility in Spencer at the Flexcon Industrial Park. The tour, according to Murray’s staff, is not open to the public.
