Framingham-based MutualOne Bank has promoted JOLEEN CALDWELL to vice president and digital banking officer and SAMANTHA RAMOS to assistant vice president and client services manager. Caldwell joined the bank in 2016 and previously served as assistant vice president and digital banking officer. Ramos joined in 2019 and most recently served as client services assistant manager and officer.
Oxford-based bankHometown has hired four banking professionals for its retail network. JERUSA DEBRITO has been named assistant vice president and branch officer in Leominster; ALISON TOZZI has been named assistant vice president and branch officer in Putnam, Connecticut; DHIMITRI PILURI has been named branch officer in Worcester; and MARIA BAKER has been named assistant branch manager in Sturbridge. DeBrito and Tozzi each bring nearly 30 years of banking experience, Piluri has more than 10 years of experience, and Baker has 25 years of experience.
Boston-based Suuberg & Durand Environmental Strategies has named Shrewsbury resident MARTIN SUUBERG as a principal leader of the firm, a move reflected in its name change from Durand & Anastas Environmental Strategies. Suuberg is a former commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and has worked in partnership with firm President Bob Durand for the past three years.
WILL KERRISSEY has joined Auburn-based Webster Five as vice president and commercial banking officer. Kerrissey brings more than 20 years of banking experience and most recently served as vice president and commercial banking officer at Whitinsville-based UniBank for Savings. He has been named a Worcester Business Journal 40 Under Forty honoree and previously received the Volunteer of the Year award from the Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce.
DAVID WEISS has been named dean of institutional advancement at Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg. Weiss has served the university for 18 years, including as a professor of criminal justice and director of the Crocker Center for Civic Engagement. He most recently served as interim chair of the behavioral sciences department and special assistant to the president.
