The Workforce Central Career Center in Milford currently located on Beach Street will move to a larger site at 425 Fortune Blvd. next week, according to the Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development.
The new location will officially open for business Nov. 28 in 4,480 square feet. The old office was only 2,983 square feet.
The new center will feature classrooms to provide workshops in interviewing skills, resume writing and Microsoft Word and Excel training.
The Milford center is one of 37 such “One-Stop Career Centers” located throughout the state.
