According to the results of a poll conducted by Framingham-based CIO Magazine, companies predict a 7.2 percent increase in IT spending during the next 12 months.
The last CIO Magazine Tech Poll, which was conducted in March, found that CIOs expected a 5.1 percent increase in IT spending.
The magazine found that companies aren’t necessarily buying into extreme economic scenarios. Their budget plans suggest they see moderate growth ahead rather than a “boom or bust,” the magazine said.
