Massachusetts gas prices fell six cents over the past week, the fifth decline in as many weeks, according to AAA Southern New England.
The current average price of a gallon of self-serve regular unleaded is $3.65. That’s 20 cents lower than it was a month ago and 23 cents below the price at the pump in May 2011.
The Massachusetts average is now three cents below the national average of $3.68.
