The Massachusetts Manufacturing Extension Partnership of Worcester is rolling out a new program designed to help manufacturers execute growth and innovation strategies.
The program is called the Massachusetts Growth and Innovation Network (M-GIN) and is part of a U.S. Department of Commerce and National Institute for Standards Technology effort to “rewrite the manufacturing story” in the United States.
For manufacturers, growth depends on new product development, and the M-GIN program will assist companies as they replace “maturing products” with newer, more innovative and profitable ones.
Companies that work with the M-GIN program will develop a step-by-step plan for new product development.
M-GIN will hold an informational meeting and workshop Friday in Worcester.
