Majority: Slam the door on casinos

By the end of this month, we’ll know whether Leominster, Plainville or Raynham will be awarded the slots license approved as part of the 2011 gambling expansion legislation. But there is also a movement that’s well afoot to place a referendum on November’s ballot that would overturn that legislation. Judging from the results of our poll the week of Feb. 3, that effort would win much support.
