Littleton-based specialized engineering firm NEO Virtus Engineering has been acquired by Minnesota-based infrastructure and consulting firm WSB.
The acquisition will strengthen WSB’s ability to support energy infrastructure projects throughout their full lifecycle, the company announced in January.
NEO Virtus was founded in 2001 and specializes in designing and maintaining large solar power and battery projects. The company is led by President Jim Bing.
The acquisition price was not disclosed. The deal marks WSB’s sixth acquisition in two years.
Working on both government and commercial projects, WSB helped reconstruct the I-35 Bridge in Minnesota after its 2007 collapse. Craig & Keithline, an Oklahoma-based firm acquired by WSB in 2023, helped transform the I-44 corridor in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to address safety concerns and beautify the surrounding area.
WSB is owned by GHK Capital Partners, a Connecticut-based private equity firm. GHK targets companies with strong cash flow, growth potential, and $20 million to $50 million in earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization.
